The majority of our paving is done on a prepared pre excavated crushed rock base and screeded sand surface and pavers are placed on the prepared pad and are concrete haunched around the sides to hold the paving pad in position. Clean wash sand or a sand/cement combination is swept into the joints to fix pavers laterally to create firmness and non movement.

We also pave directly onto concrete slabs and adhere pavers with a mortar mix to the surface in true lines and correct heights. Once again joints are backfilled with a sand/cement mix or tile grout to complete the overall looks and total stability of the paved pad.
